Hi, Ive done a clearblue test that says 2-3 weeks. Im so confused as I have PCOS which means super irregular periods. I dont know when my last period was (which sounds stupid but sometime my period would last 2 months, sometimes 2 days!). I honestly didn't even think I could fall pregnant because of this? I'm so pleased but also worried it could all go wrong or that its not real!

Clear blue says 2-3 weeks can be interpreted as 4-5 weeks based on a 28 day cycle. Is this the same for me? Please help!

You will know more at your next scan but ya if say you if you are 2-3 weeks since conception you would be dated as 4-5 weeks pregnant. If it was saying 3+ already that would be trickier as that would mean 5+ week and they only to up to that so it could be 5 or it could be 35 weeks.

They’re not science. They’re supposed to be a bit of fun.

Just wait for your dating scan.

I also have pcos and when I finally fell pregnant the clear blue said 1-2 weeks.
When I went to the midwife to book in she tried to tell me I was further along than I knew I was as my periods are so very irregular.
I would suggest just wait for your dating scan to find out exactly how far along you are.
Try not to worry too much until then, if they get you in before you are exactly 12 weeks they should book you in for another scan at 12 weeks at least that's what they did for Mrs

Clearblue are the devil's work, thete are daily posts from women who are worried by them for various reasons.

They use a different dating system to the medical profession. Medics count from the first day of your last period, clearblue from implantation/ ovulation so are always a couple of weeks behind.
