Night sweats

I'm around 11 weeks pregnant and for weeks now I've been waking up at around 2-3 in the morning dripping in sweat to the point where my pj top is soaked. We had recently changed to a better quality duvet and I thought it might have just been this but we changed back to a thinner one and it's no different. Last night we had the windows open and my husband was freezing but it still happened but by the morning I was fairly chilly. Anybody experiencing the same or knows why this is happening?

I am 12 weeks and getting serious night sweats as well. I hate being too warm in bed and sleep with a very thin duvet and windows open all year round and I am still waking up soaking. I end up moving to spare room at around 2/3 every morning as the bed is cold

I had this early on in my pregnancy too, I did find it settled down, I guess when the hormones settled down a bit.

Now I only get it if I have a particularly odd dream.

Gosh I had this a few times too - I’m 17w now so doesn’t happen anymore but I was really drenched one night even my legs! It passed for me, hope it passes soon for you.

Yes and it lasted until about 4 months post partem! Bloody horrible.

I also suffered with this, and like @snowy1982 I used to also move around the spare rooms as well throughout the night as the beds were colder.

I'm now 32 weeks and don't get the sweats but still wake up in the night feeling very hot. My DP also says that my skin is boiling and I give off more heat than a radiator. Ha.

From speaking to other Mums to be, it seems to be a very common symptom.
