Hey, unfortunately I haven't got any advice. But I am in a similar position although I'm only 20weeks. I've been noticing a lot of hip pain and aching in my pelvis. I was gutted that I've had to stop my gym classes because I was getting so much joint pain afterwards. Trying to do some prenatal yoga, but I find that that's still uncomfortable the next day. Look forward to reading any responses.

Sounds a little like SPD or pelvic girdle pain - the tops of my thighs, whole of my ass and pelvis felt like hell before my daughter dropped at 36 week - then the waddling happened.

Try some warm towels out of the tumble dryer or water bottles - if major concerned then speak to midwife.

Good luck

I had really bad hip and pelvic with 2nd pregnancy.
I had to give up work at 16 wks as was in so much pain just to walk.
I bought a support belt from mothercare which did help.
I also realised whend got admitted to hospital at 40 wks and the pain went that it was due to my mattress not supporting me properly.

I'm only 27 weeks and I get it too. I had bad SPD in previous pregnancies and I find sleeping with a mountain of pillows helps as does soaking in a warm bath.

Oh and my midwife said to walk as if you are wearing a mini skirt with no knickers on. And it has helped when I remember!
