I have felt sick since about I was about 4 weeks pregnant. Before I even did a pregnancy test. Since hitting 6 weeks I feel absolutely dreadful. The nausea is overwhelming and constant. If I move I have to dash to the toilet thinking I am going to be sick. I can’t face drinking anything. Eating is a struggle. My lips are all cracked and dry and I’m absolutely exhausted. I’ve no idea how I will manage work.

I'm not feeling as bad as you are OP as I can eat and drink but just feel like I'm massively hungover all the time - and obv not touched a drop since I found out - I'm 8+5 and had. MMC with my first preg back last Aug so feel bad complaining as I'm genuinely grateful to be pregnant again but just hate the nausea/vomiting (and chronic constipation).

Said to OH last night if this one doesn't work out I'm really not sure I can go through this first trimester hell again for a third time

They aren’t allowed to sack you or use sickness during pregnancy for any sort of disciplinary, attendance monitoring etc. Just tell them and get signed off. Flowers

I’ve had to call in sick today as I can barely leave the bathroom so clearly not able to work. I will pop in next week when I know there will be someone in HR to let them know the situation.
@SLR1906 I hope you feel a little better once home. I read somewhere you should take ginger capsules. I haven’t tried as I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t get them down. I went from just feeling very nauseous to throwing up everything including water in the apace of a day.
@coastalchick I do hope it works out for you this time. I have had two miscarriages although thankfully no sickness in either of them. They really tarnish subsequent pregnancies though.
