When I feel the urge to go for a wee, I sit on the loo but it seems it was hardly worth the trip to the loo in the first place!

Is small dribs and drabs normal? Is this due to LO growing or summat?

Sounds like you might have a urine infection.

If you can get a dr's appt, take a sample with you and they'll send it off to check.

RGPargy · 30/04/2007 20:16

Well it's not literally a dribble, it is a small stream at least. I dont have any pain or anything either. Dont think i've had a urine infection tho so i really wouldn't know lol. It might just be coz i'm cold in the aircon in the office perhaps (i'm working late).

sounds like urine infection to me too, i had one before. the pain comes when it escalates. nothing major, your midwife can give you medication for and cure it very quickly.

Definitely get checked out for infection. However I often feel a bit like that and have done throughout this pg (30 wks) - the urge to pee is not supported by volume! For me it's linked to where the baby is - I assume it's trampolining on my bladder. It especially happens to me at night. Good luck.

I've had to pee every 10 minutes for the last 30 weeks. It may just be where your bump is expanding, but mention it when you have a checkup.

BeachBunni · 01/05/2007 09:56

I know in the early stages of pg your uterus will be pushing against your bladder and sometimes it can tilt so it presses against your urethra making it hard to pee. See your doc if it continues. I used to get urinary infections a lot as well as sometimes you don't feel any pain with it so it's always best to get checked out before it progresses.

EdieMcredie · 01/05/2007 11:43

I have had this ever since about 9 weeks and I haven't got an infection. Assumed it is just position of baby.

Babylovesmuffins · 01/05/2007 13:00

I've also had this problem since early pg (almost 24 weeks now) - it doesn't happen all the time but just occasionally - I just assumed it was due to the baby pressing against the bladder. Make sure you're drinking lots of water and fruit juice, as that seems to help. I'd also mention it to your m/w just in case.

RGPargy · 01/05/2007 13:11

Thanx everyone. It seems to have stopped now, so it might have been the position of the baby last night perhaps.

I still keep waking up about every 3 hours during the night, which is driving me nuts!!!
