Pregnancy

I've just had a fall :(

I've just slipped on the snow and fallen badly on to my back. I'm in agony with my lower back now.
I'm 7 weeks pregnant and I'm in bits worrying that it will cause me to miscarry. Has this ever happened to anyone else and their baby has turned out fine?

Can I arrange to have an emergency scan or is that not possible?

I've done a test and the line isn't as dark as it was last week Sad Does this mean I could be miscarrying?

No, it means you should stop testing! You're 7 weeks, you are past the point of tests telling you anything. You are pregnant unless and until a scan tells you otherwise. But if anything DOES happen, it will not be because you fell.

Yes don't take anymore tests it will just make you more anxious and you don't need to be. Flowers

If it helps I didn't know I was pg with my first until I was 10'weeks. At 6 weeks I was out on a jet ski in very rough sea and was thrown off several times and when at work was doing restrains on inmates until I realised I was pg. She was fine & is currently sitting next to me on the sofa @ nearly 3 years old

I've had my scan today and baby is fine, but they found a sub chorionic hematoma. Sad

Has anyone ever had this?

Glad baby is fine OP. Sorry not heard of sub chorionic hematoma. What did they say it was?

I did, had bleeding until week 9 or 10. All fine. Nhs were completely untroubled by it and I think it was gone by my 20 week scan.

Hi OP. I had a subchorionic haematoma diagnosed at my first scan when I was 6 weeks, i think was quite substantial and I was pretty terrified when they said it was very likely I would bleed. I'm now 30 weeks pregnant and have never yet had a bleed! By my 12 week scan it had totally been absorbed and there was no sign of it. I'll try and find a pic :-) glad the baby looked well.

Oh that's so good to hear about your pregnancies being ok! I had never heard of an SCH before today so it came as a bit of a surprise.

GreatDuckCookery It's a build up of blood next to the sac (I think?!) and can cause vaginal bleeding during pregnancy.

I've posted to pictures. One of my little bean and one of the bleeding next to the sac. Not sure if that is classed as big or what...

WhyTheHeckMe Yours looks quite similar to how mine looks size wise. But knowing that everything was ok for you is very promising!
