Anyone had a 6 week scan so can tell people earlier?

It's my first pregnancy but don't want to tell anyone till I know it's growing in the right place. I know most people don't tell there family till 12 weeks, but I always drink alcohol when visiting family and it's going to be suspicious, so I'd rather tell them early but not until I know I won't miscarry.

Girls...I am three days late in my periods.. Is it too early to do the tests?

@HoneyCake86 sorry the thread has worried you. You can't go off other peoples experiences so try not to let the sad news of miscarriage upset you. I hope you have a fabulous time at your scan!!
