False Positive

Anyone else gotten a false positive using FRER?? I'm not pregnant because I took three first signal pregnancy tests this morning.. completely negative.

So potentially you are not officially late yet so those faint lines could well be early positives, test again in the morning..... keep us uodated!

Do you want to be pregnant? FRERs are very sensitive. Test tomorrow morning (as everyone else said) with a FRER (nothing else) and I would bet you £50 it'll be positive!

If you don't have any FRERs then pee in a pot with first morning wee and pop it somewhere safe! Go get ya FRER and then dip later in the day in your saved up wee!

Oh also - if the sex was in 21st then you are probably only 10DPO which is super super early and that's why you are only getting an extremely faint positive.

They all have lines, OP. The two from yesterday night are probably negative because you tested in the PM. If you test tomorrow morning, you’ll get another positive.

This isn’t what a false positive looks like. False positives on a frer are pretty much unheard of. The first three you posted are all positive. Can’t see a line on the last two but you say you did these in the evening, which is when your hcg will be diluted - especially as you’re testing before your period is even due. If you test again with fmu (first morning urine) tomorrow with a frer it is likely to be darker. Also, if you’re only 10 dpo it’s very early to be testing, so no wonder the lines are faint.

False positives are a lot rarer than false negatives. I would say you are pregnant op :)

Ok I have just seen that you have started about a dozen threads about the same thing - calm down! Stop testing in the evening. You need to test with FMU. And seriously, stop telling other people on their threads they might not be pregnant because you got a false positive. You don’t know you did - don’t crush other people’s hopes.

False positives are very rare, esp with FRERs it is more likely you are either very early and therefore your hormone levels are changing between morning and night or unfortunately you've experienced a chemical pregnancy. Wait a couple of days, use first morning urine and test again. Then you will know for sure.

Just took these, and they popped up within the time frame. I guess I will buy a digital one and see what happens. Not sure if there is any point though! Also, these are more visible in person. I don't even have to squint. My camera just won't pick it up.

Don't piss about with a digital, they're useless. Wait a few days is you don't come on then try again.

Digital never work for me until about 7-10 days After a first response has picked up a faint line! Jisybto warn you, they can be a total waste of money until you know you are pregnant anyway! As others have said, I think you have Lots of positives there, it's just early days. Test again tomorrow morning with another First Response and I'm sure your line will be stronger. Congratulations! X

There's a line on that FRER again, it's very very light though so my guess is you are super early!

DON'T test with a digital for at least 3/4 days
DON'T use any more cleablues - they are rubbish

Get another pack of 2 FRERs and use one tomorrow and one the day after.

Yeah I see a line in that one too. As others have said I'm guessing you're really early. Like 3 week 3 days or something. Definitley wait a few days like 4 days and get a digital. Stick with the cheapies for now. But you're definitley pregnant. Congratulations OP.
