So today I had a huge cry because I finally found some ginger biscuits that actually taste good, and help me feel less nauseous...

I also keep finding myself getting weirdly happy and crying over random things like remembering to wash pairs of socks, or my comfy pants 🙉

Please tell me I'm not insane... 😳😳😳

I cried when my hypremesis subsided and I sat in a McDonald's car park and sobbed because I was eating a hamburger, the first thing other than a ginger biscuit I'd eaten for a while.

Also, Fairytale Of New York kept making me blub in my early pregnancy before I knew I was pregnant. Now I know why I kept sobbing randomly. My son is 6MO now, and this Christmas just gone I welled up every time I heard it.

elQuintoConyo · 25/01/2018 21:33

Fucking Twilight. Such a knobhead Grin

BLUESEAPARADISE · 25/01/2018 21:39

I cried because my cat was walking forwards me to say hello ... I have no idea why but I proper sobbed which as a result made the cat run away which also as a result of that made me cry even more and chase after her trying to give her a cuddle!

I cried at the dead pheasants on the side of the motorway on my way to work. By the time I got there I was so overwrought my colleagues thought something horrendous had happened. After about 10mins of sobbing, hiccuping and snorting everywhere I started rambling about the poor baby pheasants who lost their mums because people drive like bastards! Grin It was winter, not likely to be many baby pheasants knocking about.

Learning some basic makaton to help in daughter's nursery class - used with all kids LD or not as it's a great skill to have

Then to one of the wee girls who was partially deaf daughter said bye in sign - at 3yrs old.

Blubbered like Moby dick getting harpooned lol

RosieCotton · 25/01/2018 21:50

Oh I also cried at beauty and the beast film, when the piano and wardrobe be a me human again

routineplease · 25/01/2018 21:51

With DD1 I cried because my Mum said she was going to make me some cheese straws for when I got in from work but then didn't. I had been counting down the minutes to get home to them!
NB - I was 27 at the time!

With DS1 I cried because my DD2 (6) accidentally knocked a bottle of blueberry smoothie over in Costa and literally dowsed me in it. It was dripping down my face, top and covered my jeans.
I couldn't cope (ha!) and ran off to cry in the car leaving the DC with my DH. Hmm

It's funny how hormones work!

BeardofZeus · 25/01/2018 21:52

I cried because i kneed DH in the balls in bed by accident

ChilliCheeseMama · 25/01/2018 21:58

Oh my these are all amazing 😭!!! So so so glad it's not me being overly sensitive 😭

@Blissfulignorance the biscuits are 'Biscuits au Gingembre/Ginger Snaps Original' by nyåkers - my mum got them for me from Waitrose I think, so probably a bit pricey, but omg they taste amazing and they're nice and thin so you can actually finish one without snapping off all of your teeth!

Can't wait to see what other things I cry at 😳 been watching nature documentaries this evening and I must admit I did have a tear in my eye at the Big Cats series on BBC 😭😭😭

The lightbulb in our downstairs toilet blew for the second time in a week and I laid my head on the kitchen table and wept. I even phoned my husband to tell him (goodness knows why!) and was crying so hard I couldn't speak. He thought I'd gone into premature labour! I felt so bad the next day but at the time my reaction felt perfectly proportionate!

AiryFairy1991 · 25/01/2018 22:07

Because the music in love actually was really nice. Literally sat and blubbed from the first scene right to the end cause it plays so often Grin

SimultaneousEquation · 25/01/2018 22:07

Kitkat adverts.🤷🏻‍♀️

DramaAlpaca · 25/01/2018 22:12

We were staying with the in-laws for a few days & I cried when it was time to go home. Hormones were the only possible explanation.

Mrsw200 · 25/01/2018 22:21

Only the other night blubbed at blue planet winning on the national tv awards and during David Attenborough speech because he looked so old and so lovely. Bloody hormones.

Lilonetwo · 25/01/2018 22:28

I cried and had a full on melt down (tantrum) in JoJo maman store. As I couldn't find a bra that fit me anywhere. The shop ladies were quite concerned. Blush

Bobbiepin · 25/01/2018 22:37

Full on sobbed when Pedro the anteater died on the Chester zoo programme. It wasn't because he died, it was because his anteater girlfriend missed him and spent all her time on his side of the enclosure.

Gemlou1989 · 25/01/2018 22:38

I read an article in a magazine about 2 dogs rescuing some people from the sea....I was a mess! Blush

Piffpaffpoff · 25/01/2018 22:43

I cried for an hour when I was about 39wks with dc2 because I was suddenly so upset about how my pfb was bumbling along not realising how much their little life was about to be turned upside down AND IT WAS ALL MY FAULT!!

It was all because I’d read a page in ‘what to expect when you are expecting’ about preparing your child. And it tipped me over my hormonal edge 😂😂

Eggoispreggo · 25/01/2018 22:49

During the snowy days before Xmas I cried because I saw a dog wearing a coat walking in the snow. No idea why, cried loads, I think because it was cute and I was happy the dog was cosy?!!?

TenThousandSpoons · 25/01/2018 22:54

Deal or No Deal 😭

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 25/01/2018 23:41

With DD I became obsessed that DH might die.

I once woke him at 2.30 in the morning sobbing - not because he might die but because we'd never discussed funeral plans. I was upset as I didn't know what music he'd want and if he wanted his ashes scattered or buried.

I made him plan his own funeral down to the flowers.

He was 36 and in perfectly good health.

CupcakeWithIcing · 25/01/2018 23:44

I cried because my dog dropped his biscuit and it got stuck under the sofa for like 4 seconds until he retrieved it with his tongue. I was just so sad that he dropped his treat, poor thing Sad

UterusUterusGhali · 25/01/2018 23:48

I'm not pregnant but I cried at a picture of a hat the other day. It was a very pretty hat.

I just needed to get that off my chest. Blush
