Does this sound like SPD? Pain in pelvis and pressure down below

I’m 23 weeks and last couple of weeks I’ve been getting pain during and after longer walks, or on a busy day running after toddler. Pain mostly in inner thighs and parallel to crotch. But also pressure in vagina when I squat down or go to the loo. Does this sound like SPD or something else? I’ve no clicking or trouble getting out of bed. Do I need to talk to midwife or will they just tell me it’s all part of pregnancy? Nothing like this with my first. Anyone who had/has SPD able to comment? Thanks!

Does sound like spd. I have the same thing and it's a bugger (I'm 25 weeks). Paracetamol, not over doing things and practicing pelvic floor exercises might help. If you're ever concerned speak to your MW.

Oh dear Sad do you know if it is likely to get a million times worse by the end? I’ve heard of people being on crutches by the end with SPD and it makes birth much more painful. Dreading the next 17 weeks now.

Speak to your midwife and get a physio referal (can sometimes take 4-5 weeks depending on your area)
There's some good advice online too on exercises you can do and ways to minimise it worsening...
It's tough with a toddler though....ive struggled this pregnancy as she wants picking up or carrying and I just haven't been able to.
Xxx

I hope not as I'm struggling already. I went for physio and I was given a sheet on pelvic floor exercises

Thanks SS I will. I’ve just got back from the park and then Gymnastics with DD and I’m hobbling around 😩 hope it plateaus rather than steadily declines. Hardly worth the referral for that pist surely the GP could have given you that
