Hi everyone. I’m 23 weeks and my baby seems to be almost constantly off his rocker hyper. I can’t remember if being like this with my eldest two at all. Is this normal?

It won’t mean I’ve got a hypertits on my hands when he’s born, will it?! Shock

It's a long time since I was pregnant but my third baby was very active too, my dh often got a kick when we were lying close together in bed. It seemed to be non stop. The Dr. said that after my previous pregnancies my muscles were weaker/stretched so i could feel the kicks more. No idea if this is true but dc3 wasn't any more active than the first two. she was a terrible whinger though

Ahhh, good to hear... (not the whinging part). My tummy muscles are definitely not what they used to be, so hopefully it’s that. It feels like he never sleeps right now!

I'm almost 30 weeks and mines been exactly the same since around 22 weeks.

He is so active he keeps me awake almost every night, I'm constantly attempting to move him as he gets in so many awkward positions, and he's even knocked and disturbed my cervix twice causing tiny bleeds!

Midwife was astonished when I was put on the monitor however I have being assured and reassured that it's completely normal and nothing to worry about! Doesn't necessarily mean baby's going to come out over hyperactive. SmileSmile

Ds1 was incredibly active and now 30 wks with dc2 and same again! All the midwives and sonographers comment on how active it is but all is well and I've heard they're more intelligent Wink

Oh but I have to say my son is now 2 and still never stops so could be a sign of things to come haha x

I grow very active babies, and yes, it starts in the womb and then continues after that. Sonographers started commenting on how active my son was at 12 weeks. When he was born we called him "the Duracell bunny baby", and at 3 he's still nonstop.

First baby was like this! I have videos of him nearly breaking out of my tummy

He is a live wire! A complete whirl wind

This pregnancy I have an anterior placenta so I'm not feeling her as much, but what I can feel seems calmer!
I'm kinda hoping she is the calm amongst the storm in our house 🙈
