Posterior to anterior placenta?

Had our 20 week scan today, was not in the same hospital as our 12 week scan
12 week scan was lovely, really nice tech and great equipment, amazing photos etc
Then we had a private wellbeing and gender scan at 16 weeks which was also great
We had our 20 week scan today and it was awful, the male tech was really rude and it was at a different hospital and the equipment looked older than me
He made a few weird comments and just generally seemed like he didn't want to be there...
Anyway... can't for the life of me remember what they said at the 12 week scan and there's nothing in my notes but I'm so sure they said the placenta was posterior as we were saying how clear the images were
16 week scan it was definitely written down as posterior
Well I've just realised that today at the 20 week scan it's been noted as being anterior

Can this happen? Can a placenta move?
Or has there been a mistake somewhere?
I honestly do not feel confident in the scan we had today, it was so rushed and the pictures are so blurry you can't even make out a baby, but then again are things clearer to see at 20 weeks?

Have booked a private scan at the same place we had our 16 week scan for tomorrow morning as I was very happy with the scan we had there so will ask about the placenta!

But has anyone had this happen? The placenta move? Will it cause any problems? He said 'it isn't a problem as long as it's not covering the exit' 😬
Any advice will be greatly received :)

The placenta can't move, it's fixed to one spot on the uterine wall. But as the womb grows it might change position. Think of drawing a dot on a balloon and blowing it up - as the balloon expands the dot will move.

Ahh right! That makes sense!
Will be interesting to see what the scan tomorrow says!
