F'ing awkward baby-anything I can do?

Hello, I'm hoping for tips and commiserations here. 32 weeks pg on Thursday and this little baby is in such a weird, uncomfortable position. Head wedged into one lung (as if I swallowed an apple whole) and feet jammed above the opposite hip. It hurts-not a strong pain but a persistent one, which adds up to a constant ache down one side. I can't get comfortable and I'm definitely not sleeping-have to get up every few hours and walk around just to shake him/her down a bit. Has anyone had any joy with techniques for turning them on purpose? Even a breach position would be better than this. Thanks in advance.

At my antenatal class they told us how to try and move baby if its back to back, she said to Google something called ribozo? From South America, involves you going on all fours and your partner looping a sheet under your bump and rotating it. There was also another website but really can't remember what it was called, have a google and see. Hope baby moves soon for you theres nothing worse than them lying in an awkward place so you can never get any rest!

Thanks Twitchett I'll have a look-might take a bit of persuading for my DH!

Bouncing on a ball has moved by baby from a similar position to basically straight up and down breech. Now he can kick me in the bum, fanny and hips whenever he fancies. I don't really have any tips, just wanted to extend sympathy...3 weeks to go...

Spinning babies is excellent. I’m nearly 33w and my awkward baby is Breech and facing backwards. His head is shoved up into my lung, his butt bounces delightfully all over my bladder and he’s cross legged and he wiggles his toes and stretches right into my hips. It’s not fun lol. So my dr has recommended I do the forward leaning inversion for 30 seconds 3-4 times a day to help him get the hint and flip. This position also feels good as it takes the weight off the lower bump too. All fours is also good.

Hands and knees with belly hanging down. Bum well in the air and chest down towards the bed. They will move down if they think there’s more room there and this creates a tonne of it for them - used to work for me
