Currently 27+5 weeks pregnant, due on 12th April. I have everything sorted, super excited but honestly having the worst pregnancy.

I am so exhausted all the time. I feel like I've tried everything. Eating better, gentle exercise, fresh air, time off work, sleeping earlier. I am still totally exhausted. I can't stand up without getting breathless.

As far as midwives and GP's are concerned, I'm in perfect health and this is all just what comes with being pregnant. But I'm struggling so, so much. I have never felt so run down and exhausted. Anyone else feeling the same??

Yes, me. I am 30 weeks tomorrow, this is dc3 and I am nearly 44. Poor sleep at night is exasperating it, I am sure. Also breathless have been checked for different things.
Looking forward to getting some normality back and weep with frustration sometimes and that things I just cant physically seem to do. You are not on your own, I am just getting through the days the best I can.

Just sleep. Especially if it’s your first. I don’t have good pregnancies, I feel the same so stop doing anything that isn’t necessary and just rest.
I’m 39 weeks with DC2 and finding looking after a 3 year old as well is almost impossible.
My advice is don’t stress over it just call in all the favours you can and rest.
I have had meltdowns both pregnancies because I’ve felt like I can’t even look after myself properly - let alone a tiny human. But I felt like a different person after DD was born and she was born unexpectedly at 28 weeks with an 8 week stay in NICU. Motherhood just kicked in and I got on with it! You’ll be fine.

Yes, March wise advice from KMo in that I have stopped doing anything that isn't necessary and sort of gone with how my body feels (though getting highly frustrated at the mess etc. piling up around me)
Do you have a partner/family who can help out? I have absolutely no extended family by my dh has been my saving grace. Looking after my youngest dc (4) is what I find especially tiring, this is my fourth pregnancy and I can honestly say it will be my last.

Has the midwife/GP checked your iron and your ferretin?
I felt like this at around 24-25 weeks....iron was fine but felt horrendous all the time (breathless, palpitations etc) and turns out I had low ferretin (this is to do with iron stores) so it's worth getting that checked out. A couple of weeks of iron tablets and I felt like a new woman!!

I also have a 3 year old but unfortunately no DH/P to help out!

I do have a fantastic mum who helps me out a lot in the evening for an hour or two each night which makes the world of difference! (Always feels like your own mum does everything so much better... cleaner and tidier in 5 mins than what I can do in an hour it seems, especially now!)

My iron levels were all great and I've had iron tablets for a long time now sadly so I don't think it's anything iron related :(

If anyone's read the twilight books (I haven't actually but my sister made the comparison) of when the main woman is pregnant with a vampire baby and the baby is literally sucking the life out of her, taking every last bit of nutrients.. It's like how I'd imagine that to be 😂

I'm going through the exact same thing! I'm 27 weeks and went to the GP yesterday because I honestly can't just keep putting this down to pregnancy! I'm constantly tired, weak and out of breath. Nothing helps either. The GP also confirmed that everything is fine, urine sample fine, recent blood tests were fine and oxygen level and blood pressure is fine etc
She said unfortunately some women just have bad pregnancies (my first pregnancy was so easy) so we must be part of that bunch! Just a few months to go x
