Pregnant with clomids help

Hello, so to be brief, we have been trying to conceive for 4 years. In that time I've had two ectopic pregnancies and a miscarriage. The right Fallopian tube was removed and the left was saved during surgery and I also have PCOS.
December was my first month on clomid, and this week I got a positive urine and blood test. Yippee. (Clomid=miracle drug)
But now I'm filled with dread, I've had localised pain on my left side for a few days and my first set of blood results came back with 25 hcg.
I calculated I ovulated between the 21st and 25th December, and I'm back at the doctors today for another blood test to see if they have rose since Mondays. But the nurse has said the number was pretty low for 4 weeks pregnant.

Has anyone had any localised pain after conceiving with clomid? Or a low hcg and the pregnancy has been okay?

Just wanted to update.

I was in hospital for 4 days, my bloods doubled nicely but they were still too low to see anything on a scan, so I was sent home and told to come back the following week.

This week was that week, on Monday I had my scan and a mass was seen in my remaining left tube, but they didn't know if it was fluid build up from a ruptured cyst so bloods were drawn.

My bloods have been 25,57,110 on the days I were in hospital and then this Monday, 9 days later they were 178. I was sent home and told to come back on Wednesday for more bloods.

On Tuesday I was rushed back to the hospital with severe pain and this morning (Wednesday) I was rushed into theatre for emergency surgery to look in side.
When I came round they told me it was indeed an ectopic and my last tube was removed.

Three ectopics, no tubes and I'm only 24. IVF is my only hope now and the pain is the only thing I have left of my baby.

According to some sources, clomid can increase the risk of ectopic, so I would advise anyone undertaking clomid to discuss this with your health care provider to be on the safe side.

I'm so sorry to hear this, you have really had a terrible time.

No personal experience, but a close friend in a similar situation fell pregnant very quickly with IVF. You are young, which helps greatly and I think your chances are probably good for the future.

Thankyou for replying.

I'm hoping IVF will be successful, this has been a long and painful 4 years but I have read that IVF has good success rates for women with no Fallopian tubes, though only time will tell.

Also try posting on the infertility board, there are lots of helpful people on there who have good advice. Thanks

Just wanted to say I'm really sorry you're going through all of this, sending big hugs and lots of luck for the IVF xxx

I'm so sorry Op. massive hugs. I don't think there is a link between clomid and ectopics but I'm so sorry you have been through this ❤️ All the luck in the world getting your baby. I know it will happen for you.
