I've been 2 months late onto my period (never late on)
I've done 3 pregnancy test and all came back positive.
Do you have to see a doctor or can you just see a nurse at your local GPs to get it confirmed?

Home tests are very accurate so your GP won't normally do a test. Assuming you are intending to keep the baby you can usually just self refer to your midwives online or with a form from your GP.

If you're not sure then make an appointment with your GP to discuss.

Thank you for getting back to me ☺
1st time and pretty scared to tell anyone (even my sister who is about to pop) incase anything bad happens before my 1st scan.
Is there any chance how you know what website to go out for the midwife?

I called my gp surgery and they gave me the number for the mid wives direct. They then made an appointment for when I was around 7-8 weeks.

If you're 2 months late the mws will most likely get you booked in straight away, give your gp surgery a call tomorrow.

It varies from one NHS trust area to another.

But for example this is the one for my area. www.lewishamandgreenwich.nhs.uk/self-refer

If you google your area and midwife referral it will probably come up. Otherwise just ring your GP and ask.
