Hello, how much weight did people put on during the first 5 weeks of pregnancy?

I have put on a few pounds and my belly is very bloated. I look pregnant already.

Is this normal or have I just overdone it over the festive period?

I lost weight due to quitting wine and not eating for 12 weeks. Grin

Probably a bit of both, I find this time round I'm bloated to hell and back but my system has slowed down and I'm a one woman fart factory due to it.

Warm water helps bloating when drunk daily at least for me, cold makes it worse.

I lost weight up til I got sickness tablets at 7 weeks then maintained my prepregnancy weight until nearly 18 weeks. Am now 24 weeks and have gained 4kgs in total so far

Didn't put much wait on until 20 weeks, then I got huge.

I am 10wks and according to the scales I weigh a pound less than I did when I found out at 4wks. Could be due to giving up alcohol, not sure but I have definately been eating more.
I am really bloated though but it hasn't shown on the scales.

In the kindest possible way, if you have gained mass then I think that will be Christmas weight. There's really no reason why you would gain weight in the first few weeks beyond a bit of bloating. I have lost weight each time due to nausea and no booze.

Healthy weight gain is dependant upon your starting weight.
If you Google it, there are guides/ calculators.
