Breech baby

I'm 32 weeks and baby is breech, has been for a good few weeks. My consultant says he has three weeks to turn on his own before we "discuss options", but she wouldn't actually talk about them with me until then.
So even though there's 'every chance' he could turn (I'm convinced he won't) and there are things I can try to help..IF HE DOESNT. What am I in for?
I assume my only options are ECV (really don't want) or c section (really don't want). There's no alternative is there??
And if we do go for the c section when would it be??

I think there’s a website, maybe called Spinning Babies? That gives advice on turning baby.
I’ve no experience myself, we discovered Ds was breech in operating theatre having section after induction hadn’t worked!

My DD was breech the entire time from 27-37 weeks. I did the "exercises" on Spinning Babies but also visited a acupuncturist who did moxibustion. I don't know what worked but as I was going to bed around 37 weeks, boy did I feel my baby spin to head down! Oddest feeling ever!

In terms of options if they don't turn, I believe the main two are manual turn (I 100% knew I'd never go through with this) or c section. However some hospitals may offer breech "natural" deliveries if they have specialist trained midwives.

What I would say is, don't become too fixated with your "dream" delivery ... as long as you and baby are ok that's the most important thing. After all my hard work Hmm at getting DD to turn, she ended up well and truly stuck in labour and was delivered by EMCS! The irony!

Good luck Thanks
