Anyone else's partner??

Hi everyone

Just wanted to ask...
has anyone else’s partner become ridiculously needy whilst you’ve been pregnant?
I’m 36+4 weeks and I’d say the last month I’ve struggled with common pregnancy pains and aches but I don’t get a chance to “be unwell” because my partner is always poorly! I don’t mean little things I mean always something wrong! Toothache, backache, headaches, cold/flu, sore throat, shoulder pain, he’s had a bad leg, he’s had problems with his tummy.

I don’t want to sound horrible but I’m so done with him being poorly when I have to get on with it why can’t he? I feel he does it because he is attention seeking

Sounds like the way my friends young child acted when they’re not getting enough attention after a new sibling arrival! Lol. Just say “I’m sure you’ll be fine” every time he moans

Oh jeez.

You're in for a ride when the baby arrives, OP.

Yep i've got one of those- had the gall to tell me day 1 after second c section that he had stomache ache. Man-child. I take the technique of 'take paracetamol/ inuprofen, man up or go to the doctor. If its not bad enough for the gp i'm not interested' (I'm an a+e doctor). He's got better since second baby, although is languishing in bed with'flu' currently(the rest of usjust have a cold). Very wearing. X

Yep!! Mine swapped side with me on the sofa and it meant less twisting for his bad back.... I was like what about my bad back?! Do t mi d me sweet cheeks I’m only 8 months pregnant! No biggie!! 🙄

Oh gahd. This does not bode well for when your child is actually born.

I could have written the OP!

Mine does this too! So far with all pregnancies (now 4th). I have to say in general he is quite a hypochondriac; when the rest of us has "a cold" he behaves like he is nearly dying. Over the years I have learned to ignore it, but I agree it is very annoying. Any more tips on how to deal with this are welcome!
