Can bloating cause sickness?

Is it possible to be so bloated you're sick?

I've not had morning sickness, just nausea, however I've struggled with bloating and constipation for the past 8 weeks or so (currently 17 weeks).
Today I had toast at breakfast, no lunch and two quarter sandwiches at tea, plus a couple of coffees (decaf) and a few glasses of juice or water, so hardly indulgent.
I've been bloated all day, just decided to have an early night and as soon as I sat on the bed I had to run for the bathroom, it felt like I threw up the entire amount I've consumed today, now I feel absolutely fine.
Is it possible that I was so bloated it made me sick?

We're due visitors tomorrow so I really hope it's not a bug.
But I'm also worried it's some sort of food poisoning and it may have harmed baby.

Doesn't sound like food poisoning so my guess would be mild sickness or yes bloating.

Your system slows down a lot during pregnancy and certain foods like carbs and starches are mayhem for the system to breakdown so bloating can make you sick especially if there is constipation there and gas build up.

Have you taken anything for the constipation? You can get Laxido over the counter and that will help things a lot (makes the poop really absorb water and easy to pass) and gas would speak to chemist and see if You can use bisodol tablets (you suck them) or chew peppermint that is a natrual wind reliever.

I have a gastric sleeve and 7 weeks pregnant so I do know how you feel, these are what I use since we are so prone to gas etc.

Hope you feel better soon
