Pelvis popping

I'm 38+2. Had mild SPD since about 28 weeks but been seeing a chiropractor who has helped immensely with the pain. Sleeping and turning over in bed has been increasingly uncomfortable as you might expect but for the last couple of nights whenever I try to turn over in bed it feels like my right femur is popping out of my pelvis. It's not painful as such but it's a horrible feeling and wakes me up.

This is normal right? Probably due to increased relaxin preparing me for birth combined with the SPD. It's really disconcerting though. I don't remember getting this with my 1st pregnancy at all. I've been doing all the "right" things ie sleeping with a pillow between my knees, keeping my knees together when turning over and getting in and out of bed. Any other tips to avoid the popping?

Mine is doing it too at 39+5. I'm guessing it's normal. The more I turn over the sorer my pelvis and hips are in the morning. Once I'm up and about it's fine.

That's funny ScotsLamb because I find the less I shift position in bed the sorer I am the next morning. Like if I spend too long sleeping on one side then my pelvis is really sore on that side. I try to switch sides any time I wake up (which is a lot tbf since I'm peeing about 4 times a night!).

That is strange. No "one fits all" answer then.
I'm hoping the answer is baby hurry's up and appears and poppy joints and sore sleeping disappear.
I fear the sore sleeping may be replaced with no sleeping.
