Has anyone been induced with Propess? Getting impatient!

Propress inserted 2 hours ago and just getting tightenings here and there. I’m already getting impatient!

Before propess was inserted I was already 1cm dilated.

Is there any hope for me for this baby to come tonight?!

curls yes propress is more like a large hard tablet that has a v long string attached to it that diffuses hormones to the cervix and is designed to be removed after 24 hours, used to soften the cervix but not initiate labour ready for rupture of the membranes and syntocinon drip after propess is removed. Pessaries on the other hand are designed to dissolve in the vagina and stimulate contractions, the drip may or may not be needed.

2 lots of propress and no baby with my second!I had a third attempt at induction which finally set it off for me.

I had this, unfortunately had to have it twice and still didn't work. DS born 5 days after 1st propess, only after I had my waters broken by the Doctors, I was barely even 1cm dialated at that point!

I was induced and had a process put in.

However, after only an hour it had to be removed as I started to bleed.

After this, it seemed to kick start labour and baby third was born four hours later!

I've had 2 spontaneous labours and 2 inductions Both at 38 weeks. 1st I had the pessary and had tightenings all day. They took it out after 12 hours and I had another different pessary 6 hrs after the 1st. 1 hr later I was in full labour baby born 2 1/2 hrs after that.
2nd induction I had the 12hr pessary and went into labour after 6 hrs. Baby born 5 hrs later.
