Hi ladies,
I'm 20 weeks on Christmas Day and got my 20 week scan on the 28th Dec at the hospital. Just wondering if you know how many ppl can come with you to that scan. Obviously my husband is going to be there but want my little girl to come and my mum if possible but not sure how many ppl can go in. I would presume 2 ppl and a child would be fine but not too sure. Thought I would ask on here. Seeing the midwife Thursday so she may know if not.
Thanks in advance. xxc

From what you have said you are ringing the hospital or asking the midwife (hopefully the later as hospitals are so busy)
Regardless of what they say about numbers being allowed its worth baring in mind the length of time you have to wait.
I had an early appointment and had to wait almost 3 hours for our scan. Luckily it was just me and dh as the dc were at childcare.
We were bored, fed up and it's not comfortable with a full bladder.
Think whether you really want your little girl to be bored for a long time in a hospital waiting room when you see focused in the scan.
The next scan the wait wasn't quite as bad but it took a long time to do some of the measurements and I can't see the sonographer wanting to call our dc back in for a second viewing
Good luck with the scan and try to find a private one to show your dd

I've actually looked at my notes as I go for mine soon and they do say one extra person and a child can attend so must be different everywhere you go as most people on here are saying No to taking children!
