Hello!

I should have asked my midwife but forgot. I'm now 34 nearly 35 weeks and my breaststroke haven't grown at all during this pregnancy.

Please tell me this is not too uncommon!!

Thanks

Size has nothing to do with feeding don't worry about it.

I was wondering about this too, so this thread is reassuring.

I am 32G usually so I was a bit frightened that they might end up massive but so far no growth at 34 weeks. They actually look kind of small because of my bump Grin

"Size has nothing to do with feeding don't worry about it."

This is true, size itself has nothing to do with anything. But a change in size is an important indicator for breastfeeding success or otherwise.

If a person had IGT or not, there is nothing that can be done to change that. But knowing you may be at risk for it is important in avoiding a situation where a baby may risk becoming jaundiced or dehydrated if trying to breastfeed without adequate supplementation.

Iv known women with ample breasts that have struggled and women with small breasts that have ebf well into toddler years without issue.

I understand it's important to know about potential under supply risks to baby.

I know one of my size teeny friends with next to no boobs could have kept triplets in supply.

I'm really Sorry if my post came across as insensitive op I just meant dw about it until baby is here you will be fine, you are aware of the risks which is more than some. Remember your milk won't come through for a couple of days and it's perfectly normal for most bf babies to be on and off boob constantly for the first 12 weeks easily. I'd always note it's really important that baby gets fore milk and fatty back milk so if they seem to have had a short feed on boob then next feed put them back on that boob first then swap when they seem to lose a bit of interest.

Mine didn't change at all in pregnancy - I was gutted as I'm quite small boobed. Then when my milk came in I went up 3 cup sizes. Sadly, I went straight back down when I stopped BFing. I miss having decent-sized breasts!

I fed for 22 month and mine did not get bigger until my milk cake in and even then not loads. Feeding was perfectly fine
