Figuring out maternity pay entitlements

Going through my company handbook atm, trying to figure out what maternity pay I'm entitled to.
The handbook quotes:

"An employee is entitled to maternity leave in accordance with the current legislation
(Employment Rights Act 1996 Employment Relations Act 1999 Employment Act 2002 &
Work & Families Act 2006).
 Maternity Leave Provisions –
o Ordinary maternity leave –
 Pregnant employees are entitled to 26 weeks’ ordinary maternity leave
regardless of length of service
 Ordinary maternity leave is normally paid leave (please see below for rates of
pay that you will be entitled to during ordinary maternity leave).
o Additional maternity leave –
 In addition, pregnant employees are entitled to additional maternity leave, this
leave starts immediately after ordinary maternity leave and continues for a
further 26 weeks. A total of 52 weeks maternity leave.
 A proportion of the additional leave is unpaid (see SMP below)."
"Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP)
o Employees are entitled to :-
o SMP from -COMPANY- at (please check with HR for current SMP rates - this
payment to subject to regular change) for a period of (as at April 2012, 39 weeks
but also subject to legislation – please refer to HR for current limits)
o Maternity pay, less tax and national insurance contributions will be paid at the same
frequency and in the same manner as salary payments."

So does that mean they'll pay just Statutory but for 52 weeks?
Or does it hint there is further pay available?

We wouldn't get by on just stat...

Is anyone able to please advise?
Even if its just a point in the right direction for figuring this out without letting work know yet.

No. Standard SMP for 39 weeks.

Yeah 6 weeks at 90% and following 33 weeks at smp rate. I get the same. I’m currently saving up! Can’t take the full year though

Thanks guys Smile
Looking into going back part time after Maternity leave, as I wish I'd done that first time round to save a fortune on childcare costs.
