Hello all

I will be starting a new job at the same company in January, by then I'll be 20 weeks (hopefully!).

I would like to wait at least a few weeks into the role to officially disclose.

My question is when did you start to show? I'm particularly interested in what taller ladies have found (I'm 5,8). I'm Norbert very fit though and a bit of a flabby tummy to start with! So I'm worried Confused

Thanks!

I was on a course until I was 7 months pregnant and no one realised. I just looked a bit fat. I'm 5 9, fairly wide of hip and DS only weighed 6.5, if that makes any difference.

I'm 5'10" and didn't tell people at work until 25 weeks, with both pregnancies. Even then most people didn't know as I wore a loose suit jacket and a dark clothes. I felt huge but they didn't notice!

I didn't, apparently. I'm 6ft1 and chubby. Got a new job (short term contract) at 28 weeks, they were surprised when I disclosed at 32. Some colleagues were surprised when I mentioned it when I left at 37 weeks as they hadn't noticed. Just dress like you're fat and strangers may assume you are!

I think there's a big difference between what people who know you will spot and strangers though so you may be able to get away with your new team more than your current one

I’m 5’9” and a size 18 when I fell pregnant so was expecting to be able to hide it for a while. Very visible bump by 16 weeks, full “pop” by 22.
Had to disclose very early as I was very poorly at the beginning and wanted to be open with the team I managed.
