Sharp pain in the ribs anyone?

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Stabbing pain in the ribs on the right hand side high up, just under boob.

I wanted to blame indigestion but that would be middle or left and after eating. This comes on before and after eating, and goes if I lie down, which is meant to make indigestion worse!

Maybe it’s not even preggo related?

Just back from GP. He was concerned about pulmonary embolism but ruled that out as the other symptoms for that are breathlessness, coughing blood and feeling faint. BP, pulse and blood oxygen level all fine so he says it’s muscular and it will pass. He says all the stomach and chest muscles bear the brunt in pregs and the whole anatomy is affected.

If it carries on I might go to a physio.

Glad you saw GP and that he was able to rule out anything sinister. Good luck with the stretches hun, really hope it helps and that the pain passes soon. It will all be worth it in the end! Xxx
