On the News this morning it has been revealed that a runny yolk is safe for pregnant women to eat now! Hallelujah!

Anyone with their own chickens eaten their eggs through pregnancy? I have my own girls and am inclined to think they would be safe too?

I've been eating runny (lion stamped) eggs all through pregnancy (currently 36 weeks) as I also knew they were safe and the NHS hadn't caught up.
SPARKS Not sure what the official line is but I used to get my eggs from someone at work who had their own chickens. When I fell pregnant I stopped getting them from him and started getting only lion branded ones as a precaution. Have they been vaccinated against salmonella??
