Anyone had their flu jab yet?

And how did it make you feel? Had mine this morning... arm is killing me as expected but I feel really under the weather and more uncomfortable than usual. My bump feels weird - sort of tingly or like I have butterflies in my stomach but not in my stomach - right at the top of the bump!
I'm 35+1.

I get mine on Friday. I've never had any side effects from it, apart from a bit of a sore arm sometimes for a day. If you feel under the weather, it's likely you are just starting to get a cold. There's a nasty one going around. It is normal to feel a little under the weather for a few days after because the way the vaccine works is it stimulates your immune system to produce antibodies and that stimulation is the exact same thing that happens when you get sick. You aren't getting sick, but your immune system working overtime can make you feel the same (it's not the infection itself when you get a cold that makes you feel sick, it's your immune system fighting it off that does). So totally normal to feel run down a few days after. But I think it would be unlikely that you'd feel it come on so quickly. More than likely you're just unlucky and getting a cold at the same time. Everyone I know is sick at the moment.

I must admit that I was very wary, as I have had it 2 times before and both times felt really ill after.
My Doctor advised that this was probably caused by the fact that I had the jab when I had a cold.

I decided to go ahead and had it done 2 weeks ago now. Apart from a sore arm for a couple of hours, I have been fine. No issues or side effects at all.

So I am really pleased that I decided to go ahead with it. Trying to persuade my partner to get his done too now.

I had mine on Friday and am feeling under the weather still. Just like having a cold, but it's already getting a bit better. Much better this than getting actual flu IMO!

I had mine two weeks ago (I work in a school and though the sooner I do it the better to avoid the flu wave that usually happens in October/November. I really did not want it, but don't want to risk it either.
My arm felt painful for a few hours and then went away.

Had mine 2 weeks ago & fortunately haven't been unwell, just a slight sore arm.

I had mine a couple of weeks ago, I had a red sore mark on my arm and itched a little, then a headache for 2 days with body aches! ( not sure if it's all related ), I was fine after a couple of days =)
