Hi ladies,
Anyone else finding not being able to tell ppl or work that your pregnant? I found out early and told my manager last week. I didn't really want to tell her but when visiting the nurse she encouraged me to mention it to her.

This is my second pregnancy but I feel so different this time around. 'All day sickness' is the worse and the fact I'm constantly worrying for some reason. Thought I would of been more relax this time round.

Anyway I'm only 7wks +2days and it's absolutely dragging. I mean I have now told my manager which was fine and I'm on light duties no picking up etc.. I work in a nursery with 2 -3 yr olds so it's not one of those jobs that you can sit down all day. (wish it was)

Since becoming pregnant I've been telling my work colleagues that I have a bad back and had to go to the extend lying ( which I hate doing) that I've been the doctors and he has said that I need to take it easy. Not sure if I can keep up the lies for another 5 weeks. They are already questioning am I pregnant! It's awful..

Anyone else in the same situation? x

Congratulations ladies and thank you for posting. It's lovely to hear about all of your experiences. Yes it's such a tough one the first trimester and it's dragging so much. We found out when I was 4 weeks and I'm 8 on Friday. Looking forward to being able to tell everyone. The things us women have to go through during the first trimester is unreal!

I had to go to the Early Pregnancy Unit today as had been spotting slightly and had really tight pains in groin. Never had this at all with my first so was a little concerned. All fine and our little blueberry is doing well, even got to see their heartbeat which made me feel quite emotional. It's mad to think something incredible is living/growing inside of you.. It amazes me.

It's also reassuring from these post that there are other women going through the same worries as you. Your not alone, we can get through this and have a chat about how we are feeling. So just wanted to take the time to say thank you again for sharing and posting your stories as it helps us in one way or another! 👍🏼😊

@manchesteruntied
Congratulations on your pregnancy! Yes everything you have said sounds normal. So try not to worry. It's a little scary when it's your first as you don't know what to expect. Altho saying this my pregnancy this time round is completely different. All day nausea and a tightening in my groin. All fine and normal. You don't realise how incredible are bodies really are!
I hope I have reassured you in some way but if you need a chat please don't worry about getting back in touch. Take care lovely xx💞
