Didn't have either symptoms for either pregnancy. Could have slept for a solid three months though.

still really tired, and have the heavy feeling in my lower tummy. Saw the heartbeat at 6 weeks, but still worried...

Do you have a booking appt or routine midwife appointment anytime soon. You could mention it then.

SparklyGothKat · 08/04/2007 15:21

I have my booking in appointment with midwife, and consulant on wednesday. I also have a scan. Which I hope will show everything is ok.

SparklyGothKat,

My ms stopped completely at about eight weeks for a few days and I was terrified.

Then it started up again a few days later and I wished I'd taken the time to enjoy my "holiday"!

After that I got the odd day or two when I wasn't at all sick, then it would come back a few days later. About week 14-15 the actual sickness went, replaced by nausea, which I still get now (42 weeks, nearly!)

However if you are genuinely worried you could always ask the mw?

sgk - my ms has also stopped. mine stopped round about 10 weeks. ive been told that its quite normal for it to ease off around this time. my boobs are not as sore as they used to be but i do get the odd day when there really achy. i know its hard but try to relax. seeing the heartbeat is a good sign. my book says that once its seen the chance of the pregnancy carrying on is 97%, so the odds are in your favour. roll on your 12 week scan.

Thanks Missnat. I just woke up from a nap (like I say still really tired) and felt sick, and when I manhandled my boobs they are still sore on the underside.
I have a scan this wednesday, the consultant booked it, I guess because of my previous history (at least it proves he has read my notes)

oh thats good at least you've not got too long to wait for your scan. mine isnt until april 16th. got another week to wait. i know what you mean about the tiredness. i went out in the garden at 2pm and lay on the trampoline. ive just woke up with my duvet over me. dp said i look that tired that he didnt want to wake me.

i has a bit of a bleed (pink blood) on thursday. i only noticed it when i wiped but it went as soon as it came. ive got no pain and had no more bleeding since. im worried but still feel positive.

good luck with your scan. ill keep a look out for you update

SparklyGothKat · 08/04/2007 17:36

aww bless you, I have managed to clear up all the bits that my dog has chewed in the garden today (looked like a bombsite with bits everywhere lol) and hung some washing out today, so am very impressed with myself, as in the previous weeks I haven't be able to drag myself from the sofa.

I was told that having seen the heartbeat at 6 weeks increases your chances IYSWIM. Sorry I dont know your story but I do know what its like to worry the whole pregnancy. It didn't matter how much other people reassured me, I only felt SURE it would be ok when the baby was born, safe and well

SparklyGothKat · 08/04/2007 17:43

sorry, I am on my 6th pregnancy, I had DS born at 36 weeks, a miscarriage, then DD1 born at 31 weeks, then dd2 born at 33 weeks, and an etopic pregnancy, so I am 'high risk' according to the hospital. I have already had a scan at 6 weeks and saw the heartbeat. I have been regisitered with a consultant that deals with high risk pregnancies.

no wonder you are panicking a bit! I am full of admiration for you for keeping going. I have never had a preemie - it must be so frightening to go into labour knowing your baby will be so tiny. I was always so desperate to get them out - you must have been desperate to keep them in

How are you feeling this evening?

SparklyGothKat · 09/04/2007 01:16

OUr guests just left and I thought I'd quickly come on here before bed.
I remember the doctor telling me to push with dd1 and thinking 'no, i want to keep her in my womb' With DS I was scared as he was my first, but with dd1 I was terrified. With dd2 I got past 31 weeks and relaxed a bit till I went into labour at 33, thinking she would be bigger than dd1, but she was actually smaller but healther.

SGT - I'm nearly 17 weeks and my ms and sore boobs stopped overnight about 3 days ago. I don't remember my boobs suddenly stop hurting last time. I've been worried all weekend....so know exactly what you mean. I think it's fairly normal (for some people). Hopefully others will join in.

Goodluck for wednesday.
