I'm finding it really difficult to adjust to sleeping on my side, I've been looking at the theraline pillow, but I'm not sure if this would assist with side sleeping? Can anyone confirm or any suggestions for any other types that I should look at? Smile Thanks!

I'm 21ish weeks and have recently bought this pregnancy pillow: www.dreamgenii.com/

I have always slept very comfortably on my back, and knew I'd struggle to train myself to sleep on my side if I ever got pregnant, bit this pillow is fab and I've had some great nights' sleep with it!

It even has magic powers: for the couple of weeks prior to buying it, I'd been getting up regularly in the night to wee. But for a good few nights after it arrived, I had glorious unbroken sleep.

Highly recommended!

Thanks Rufffles, I see that one has good reviews and doesn't look too bulky. Sounds great Grin

I don't think it's bulky at all. It comes in a nice little clear bag with a zip - I've kept mine, and the pillow will easily squash back into it when I need to take it away to stay overnight somewhere. The pillow cover is a tiny bit faffy to put back on after you've removed it to wash it, but despite what some of the reviews say, I don't find that to be a huge problem. Good luck with whatever you choose (and more importantly with the baby!)

I'd second the Dreamgenii and it's not too bulky in the bed either. Nice to sleep both ways round too.

Don't know if they have them back home but I just bought the Leachco Snoogle pillow in N.America and it's great x

Through two pregnancies I've just used a regular pillow wedged under my bump - I'm a natural tummy sleeper so have to have something to stop me rolling onto my front.

They've worked perfectly - so well in fact that now, 3 weeks after having my second DD I am still struggling to wean myself off it!

I just use 2 extra pillows one for my back so i dont roll and one to put between my legs. Its comfortable and no bulk and my partners not pushed out of bed.
Failing that alot of people have recommended Amazon for a v shaped maternity pillow which might help

vlooby · 30/09/2017 04:53

I used a v cheap v shape one from Argos and sometimes an extra ' normal' one too.

I tended to just rotate my DH and hold onto him - one to try? Grin

Ah, these are all great, thank you! Not too sure how the OH would feel about the rotation idea GrinGrin
