Just wondering if anyone has any practical advice with regards to putting anything on your feet? Already struggling at nearly 29 weeks.
I think I've tried every angle.....but secretly hoping for some miracle advice.Hmm TIA.

I have in the main part....but still need socks or tights with most of my work shoes. I'll figure it out I'm sure.

I always found the easiest way was too Sit on the edge of the sofa/chair and bend your leg at the knee towards your bum so your foot is beside you (I hope that makes sense).

It's still a struggle but you won't feel like you're suffocating or about to topple over

Séraphina (ignore the accent) tights - absolutely best mat tights I had

Omg I have the same problem Shock Socks are a nightmare! Especially when I'm already tired!

Leeela · 28/09/2017 21:59

I once even asked DH to take my socks off for me Blush

Yep I empathise, struggling with this too at 32 weeks. Agree with PP that best way is sitting down on edge of bed or sofa and bending knee so foot rests on the other knee. I take a deep breath in as well because I think that makes it marginally better! Just do it as quickly as possible. For taking off, I have given up trying to do it neatly and just pull socks, tights and leggings off any old how and then turn them the right way afterwards ready for the wash.

Slip ons or flip flops are all I wear from mid second trimester onwards. Absolutely no time for anything else! I got some large uggs for occasionally but I was so swollen it was still a hard fit

I have incipiant (on their way but not quiet here) bunions so i went a bit panicky too foot wise and got prepped early...

Seraphine do a special pregnancy shoe. They are pricey but i ordered a pair in black (goes with everything right?!) and I'll let you know how they go! www.seraphine.com/maternity-clothes/shoes.html

Look at how that model is leaping about with her bump! See, that'll be me in a few days time. Ahem.

Also invested in a pair of rather old lady-ish but VERY comfy Ecco high tops. I say old lady-ish....i have never seen an old lady in high tops. Anyway, Ecco are again pricey but very comfy.

I also looked at (whisper it) Hotter but just couldn't do it....

H&M tights while not quite long enough for me (I'm 6 foot so giant) are also pretty good.

CL1982 · 29/09/2017 10:05

Quite not quiet. Doh.

beckieperk · 29/09/2017 17:56

Thanks everyone. Some good advice. Ordered some of them tights.....not sure about the shoes??? Although they do look comfy. I bought some sketchers (a bit cringe) but comfy.
