Blinding headache and quieter than normal baby

For the last 24 hours baby has been much quieter than usual. Have still felt the odd kicks but not the repeated bashing I was getting at regular periods before.
I saw my midwife today for 28 week check (at 29+0) who checked heartbeat and didn't seem overly concerned but said to phone if could feel after an hr lying on left side.
Since getting home from appt I have had a BLINDING headache, and despite lying on side for 3/4 hours have only felt 2/3 kicks (not periods of kicking).
Do I need to phone? I keep thinking I'm being silly as only saw the midwife today but at the same time I'm a worrier and someone I know lost their baby at 27 weeks at the weekend 😞 Have been in the antenatal ward for hyperemesis previously and felt like I was bothering them and don't want to be THAT person.

Always call/go in. I was told even if you have to go to hospital every single day because you are concerned about movement then that is fine. Decreased movement plus the headache would definitely warrant a visit. Hope all is ok.

I went in as ds had decreased movements. Turned out that he had very little fluid and I was induced a few days early with him. They would rather that they saw you and it was nothing than to lose the baby or you.

I'm a midwife. ALWAYS call if there has been a change in movements. They will not mind, it's their job and they'd rather see you and there be no problem than miss something. Please ring asap x

I used to get lots of migraines when I was pg, midwife told me to go in every time to get blood pressure checked. It's their job to make sure you're ok.

Hope all is well Annie and you were checked.

Hope all is ok Annie x

Have a cold glass of water to see if that sets baby off but if baby is still not very active you should definitely call your midwife.

Binglesplodge · 29/09/2017 09:38

I've been thinking about you since last night, OP: hope everything is ok.

ElvisCriddlington · 29/09/2017 14:32

I hope you and your baby are both OK OP. Did you get checked out?
