So for about a week now if I'm. Laid really still in bath or on bed, I feel like a ' popping, bubble' feeling. Defo not 🍃 wind. Then a tiny barley noticeable stretching feeling. So it's just above pubic bone and to halfway to belly button if that makes sense. .
I mentioned to doc when I said about the pains I also get elsewhere. And he said no way can you feel that early.
I don't remember feeling my son much only in bath and very late on.. He didnt move much at all tbh.

I had similar feelings to the original post from 14-15 weeks. midwife even asked me at my 15 wk appointment if I had felt movements yet, which I thought I had but wasn't sure if it was gas or foetal movements. At 18 weeks I had definite kicks....and this is all with an anterior placenta. Am 24 weeks now and get loads of movement.
It all depends on your shape/size - slimmer people tend to have less abdo fat which can cushion any movements. And the placenta position (anterior = front) is meant to make feeling movements a bit more difficult early on.
You know your own body.

Ridiculous to dismiss what you are saying! I had 100% felt mine (1st pg) quite a bit by 17 weeks and on exactly 17 weeks my OH felt it from the outside too, proving it was not me imagining things. Was really frustrating to be told it was too early to feel anything.
Baby has been very, very active, almost never still ever since!

Oh and at my 16 week mw appt she asked if i had felt baby and i said yes I thought so, pretty much certain it's baby and not wind and she said course it's baby and not wind!
So many mixed messages from the medical professionals.
I actually think i felt my first tap at 14 weeks. I'm sure I didn't imagine it.

I felt my baby move at 17 weeks, she kicked the Doppler a good few times and a midwife felt her kick at 17 weeks. My partner felt her at 18 weeks. Without doubt.

I have also had those feelings!

I agree with some of the other responses here, what an odd thing for your doctor to say. I had a midwife appointment yesterday and she asked me if I had felt the baby and I said I thought so...I described the little bubble/flutters and showed her where, and she said that's definitely her moving around.

Lol, some docs are scary. 17 weeks isn't ever unusually early!

I didn't feel my first until 19 weeks. Felt something at 19 weeks but it wasn't until 20/21 that I could say with hindsight it was definitely baby.

Second I felt moving in the few days leading up to 16w midwife appt.
