I was just wondering when you guys first felt your baby move? I'm 19 weeks pregnant now with my first baby and I still haven't felt any movements at all, my midwife did say to only let them know if I haven't felt anything by 24 weeks but it does worry me a little as my belly is still quite small and as I said I haven't felt anything at all.

Hardly at all but definitely over 24 weeks. I had an anterior placenta which seemed to entirely cover everywhere.

20 weeks with my first and 16 with my second. My midwife listened to the heartbeat at every appointment from 16 weeks

Almost 23 weeks here, placenta at the front.

I was told that they are no longer supposed to try to find the heartbeat at 16 week appointments; they can't always find it. I said I wanted midwife to try, she did, and it was very reassuring. Not sure why they've been told to stop offering it...

I felt around 20 weeks I think just tiny tiny movements are first it feels like someone is flicking you! I was just sat in the car I think if I was doing anything I wouldn't have felt it!

I just read a bit about the heartbeat, I listened to baby's heart every appointment from 16 weeks I think, however I went for the 16 weeks appointment a week early and she said usually if your not exactly 16 weeks or over they don't try as it's so tiny sometime they can't find it or can't hear it and obviously makes people worry but she asked if I wanted her to try or not, maybe ask next time! I didn't feel anything until 24 weeks but after that she didn't stop!

I have an anterior placenta and the obstetrician who did the scan said because of this I may not feel anything until 24 weeks.

I have no idea what I am looking for. 17 weeks and sort of just giving up on trying to feel it until it is very clear!! FTM and honestly...am so clueless.
