Hot flushes, faintness, nausea and hot sweats at 21 weeks

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and haven't suffered majorly with sickness or anything but recently I've been having these hot flushes where the sweat just pours off of me, I feel dizzy and sick (sometimes throw up) and I feel like I'm gonna faint, then I can't get my breath and I start panicking and hyperventilating. This can last up to an hour and seems to be getting longer each time. Part of me thinks the breathlessness and hyperventilating Is some sort of panic attack from where I start feeling ill and my mind doesn't know how to handle it. It happens more in work than anywhere else. It's gotten to the point where I'm scared to do anything or go anywhere on my own and I'm worried about driving, I've lost all confidence, I'm going to the doctors first thing to make an appointment, I just wondered if anyone else had something similar? Ta x

Glad you're going to the GP. Sounds like panic attacks, it's easy to get stuck in that cycle. Deep breaths, positive self talk.

The heat and sweating could be pregnancy related. Maybe the combination of everything is making everything feel worse. Good luck at doctors.

They've given me paper bags and basically told me to get on with it! Not feeling overly confident about this and I don't think it will work, just have to deal with it I guess!x

You have to give it a try, they will help replace your lost carbon dioxide. If it doesn't help just go back again.
