Does anyone have any quick remedies? Also I have a throat numbing spray, are those safe to use in pregnancy?
Thanks

Paracetamol for temperature & aches & pains. Steam inhalation to help clear a blocked nose. Hard boiled sweets for soothing a sore throat. Vicks vapour rub on your chest or feet (put socks on top) at night to help with a cough / blocked nose. Sleeping propped up on pillows will also help the cough. Other than that there isn't a lot you can take. The throat spray is probably a no but a pharmacist will be able to advise if the packet isn't clear. Hope you're feeling better soon. I had a cold at 6 weeks on my first pregnancy & it sucked, not what you need with the tiredness & morning sickness.

Had a horrendous cold a few weeks back around 21 weeks and I didn't take anything apart from paracetomol. Hot water and some cut up lemons helped my sore throat. Try and keep things as natural as possible. I felt helpless as normally I would go and raid the shops cold and flu tablets. Make your own lemon and honey drinks and take pain killers and it will eventually pass

Sorry no exciting suggestions- I have researched a lot! Paracetamol and honey and lemon drinks is about it. Oh you can use snuffle babe nasal spray but it's just saline .Hope you feel better soon.
