Hi everyone, I'm almost 34 weeks pregnant with my second. I didn't drink the tea with my last pregnancy but have heard in order for it to work you need to start drinking it early.

Iv read you can start drinking it from 30 weeks or so but I can't find a hard and fast rule and don't want to do anything risky!

Thank you! 😁

I've been taking the tablets since 32 weeks, drank the tea throughout with my first and second.

Try 1 cup a day then up it each week.

Well it just gives you a shorter pushing stage, it doesn't bring on labour or anything so the risk is small.

From 20 weeks ( qualified medical herbalist here, pm me if you have questions)

Oh fab! Thank you for your replies! I thought it started labour earlier 🙄 I had a 2 hour pushing stage last time and then lost around 1.7 litres of blood. I wonder if this would help prevent blood loss or actually increase the risk. Any thoughts?

I drank this in my first pregancy nearer the end and it done nothing. These old wife tales are rubbish!

Which raspberry tea do you recommend @Ohyesiam? I drank the tea before and taking capsules this time but might get some tea for last couple weeks?

Are the tablets and tea both effective?

General agreement with my friends is that for each cup of the stuff you drink you should add a day onto the wait. Save your money and enjoy something you like, chocolate buttons Grin
Hope it all goes well xx

Is raspberry leaf tea exactly as it sounds, i.e. leaves of raspberry plant? Have raspberry bushes in garden and wondering if I can use those
