Super nausea at 33/34 weeks: normal?

Just that really; on top of my usual shattered state (but bloods ok apparently) I'm now getting knockout nausea that's stopping me in my tracks and laying me out for anything up to an hour at a time.

It started last week and has ramped this week.

Why would I start getting this now? Heaven knows I didn't feel this ropey in the first twelve weeks x

Sorry to hear this! Could it be because of the position of the baby, your stomach etc... is getting a bit squashed and making you feel queasy? I'm 33 weeks and over the past couple of weeks I've had little spells of nausea and also heartburn which I suspected was just because my insides are running out of room!

Yeah it can happen.

Get your blood pressure checked. Get your blood sugar checked. Any reflux ??

I have absolute confidence it's baby's position; he "floats up" as the day progresses meaning I'm a breathless heap by 7pm.

But this nausea....oh.

There's been a bit of heartburn but not much thank god. I'm lying here not wanting to eat any of the vegetable stir fry DH is cooking but I could cheerfully eat a dairy milk.

I had sickness for first 16 weeks then it started again at 30 weeks. Not quite the incessant nausea of first trimester but throwing up breakfast and dinner each day (seem to be ok with lunch). 36 weeks now and feel grim.

Check out the spinning babies website. There are a couple of excercises on that that used to get my little one to move a bit. He used to wedge himself in really painful positions...

I've been spinning this baby more than a spider spinning a web whilst listening to Salt n Pepa's DJ friend Spinderella; that's why I'm really Confused as to the position.

Just managed to fit some chicken and rice down me. But literally a woodenspoonful. No space!

I had HG until 24 weeks and it returned with a vengeance at 28 weeks. It's still here now at 38 weeks.

Are you hydrated? It becomes harder for your body to handle even slight dehydration as your body becomes bigger so you can feel more nauseous.

They're just little fuckers sometimes I'm afraid. It starts in the womb.

I used to joke that ds was strong because he kicked the crap out of me in utero. Fast forward to the birthing ward and his checkover and the paediatric doc was all 'hey Sven come see how strong this baby is! He's only a day old, look! '

This has continued. I blame the diet of rennies and gaviscon, he's obviously got some sort of calcium carbonate skeletal superpower.
