Negative tests, weird feeling

Wasn't sure where to post this.

I'm slowly going round in circles here, and wonder if anyone can convince me I'm not pregnant.

I'm on the pill, religious about taking it. But I've recently been getting weird tummy sensations like flutters or kicks, though it's more than likely wind. I've got a DC under a year old. I've got no bump at all (apart from a slight mum tum) and I've been losing weight recently successfully. I'm a natural born worrier, and I've done several pregnancy tests and all coming back a firm negative. I've been to the doctor who felt my abdomen and said it feels like there's nothing there but a bit of wind (had a slight tummy bug a few weeks ago which coincided with all this starting), but I'm still not convinced.

In order to feel movements, I'd need to be some way along - surely I'd have a bump, and the pregnancy test would be positive. Also, I've not missed a period, and in fact I have my period now. Final point, I've got a bit of discolouration on my face which I have convinced myself is the mask of pregnancy, and could swear that I've not seen it there before. But no other symptoms.

I keep lying down and feeling my tummy and can't feel anything definitive, but with all the poking and prodding and with being on my period, everything feels weird. I'm so anxious that my tummy is tense.

It's driving me mad. I'm convincing myself I am pregnant, but all the evidence points to not being pregnant. Can anyone offer me any advice? I'm tying myself up in knots.

Phantom kicks are a thing, especially once you have been pregnant before. I know I've certainly had them. I think once you've felt something before you are more attuned to things that feel similar (like wind).

Mask of pregnancy is hormone related but doesn't have to be pregnancy related, I got it when I first went on the pill.

I think given the tests are negative and you are taking contraception the chances of you being pregnant are minuscule!

Why do you think this is playing on your mind so much? Would you like another baby?

Phantom kicks, I had them for a couple of years after my pregnancy

Thanks Gunpowder

No, the opposite. I really don't want another baby. I've got serious anxiety issues, something I'm trying to get help for. This has just gotten stuck in my mind for some reason. I've been googling (stupid me) and I've even wondered if it's ectopic - which makes no sense as I'd have no kicking and a whole lot of other symptoms including a likely positive test.

I'm just worrying and convinced that tonight it feels like I can feel my uterus. Which again is mad because I couldn't the other day, and it's probably my period if anything causing swelling.

I'm really probably worrying over nothing aren't I?

Thanks Pink.

I wonder if it's because it's fresh in my memory. Every little gurgle or 'tap' makes my mind immediately spring to it. It feels so real doesn't it?

I think I'm just so tense because of nerves that my stomach feels very much in my mind, and normally I'd just not even notice. And the 'movements' don't actually correlate with drinking cold drinks or having sugary things, like they would normally. I'm just a bit of a mess right now.

Ok, so had a blood test done at the doctors (just to ease anxiety) and levels came back normal (less than 1 hcg, pregnancy would be over 5 apparently) so definitely not.

Thanks for the replies, think I need to sort out my anxiety.... Sad
