maternity bras - help!

Can anyone recommend where to buy comfortable bras?
I am 25 weeks pregnant and have really struggled to find the right bra. (part of the problem is probably that i don't know quite what size I am.) I can still fit some of my pre pregnancy bras (boooo!) but they aren't very comfy at all. The only bra i've been able to find was a maternity bra in topshop which is really comfortable but they only had one in stock which wasn't absolutely enormous. Which leaves me trying to recycle one bra, which is a lot of washing!
I thought marks and spencer would do them but all I could find were nursing bras or absolutely enormous things. (i'm normally 36A; the comfy bra i have is 36c)
I'd just like something simple and comfortable with no underwiring.
Any recommendations?

I just went for Mothercare, because I coulnt be bothered to see if there was anything better out there! Having said that, mine was fine, and was the right size as they did a fitting.

And you def need to be measured. I came ouf of feeding bras January, guessed my size, and only just got remeasured last week. I thought I was a 36c and was wearing that size, but it turns out I'm a 34e!!!! Feel much better/comfortable now

go to mothercare and get measured

or John Lewis measure or Debenhams

pack of two from M&S, pretty comfy.

I bet you'll find if you get measured properly you'll be smaller around the back and the larger in the cup than you think. I strongly recommend Rigby and Peller for measuring - you won't be forced to actually buy a bra there if like me you find £75 a bra to steep, you can always say you'd like to have a think and come back later . I'm much larger than you (at a 32HH !!) but only a few weeks behind pregnancy wise with 2nd baby and I can thouroughly recommend Bravado bras as being super comfy

i had the sports style one on here. it is great as it can cope with changes in your cup size here

You can get measured at Bravisimo too. Their bras are cheaper than R&P too.

But both of these are London based shops and I don't know how well the rest of the country is covered.

I use the measurement in the books too, which I've found a good guide.

i.e.
Under boob measurement (e.g. 34)
plus
Round the boob measurement. One cup size for each inch difference. (e.g. 38 = D)
Therefore 34D

Getting measured is obviously better, but this may help.

I got measured at Debenhams at the weekend. I didn't want to wear unflattering maternity bras so the assistant said that I would be fine to wear the bigger cup (I have gone from a 36C to 36D) but that I should go for a wider back. I bought the 38D and she said that as long as it was not pressing on to the breast tissue (it's underwired), that I would be just fine. I do feel very comfortable and have no marks where my smaller underwired bras had left them.

I've been wearing sports bras from Peacocks and Primark. Seem to be much more supportive than the maternity bras i have had from Mothercare in the past. Cheap as chips too (£5)
