Lmp date and scan based date - 3 week difference. Anyone else?

This baby was a surprise, LMP is actually the only bleed I had since having dd last year (6 months after birth).
I am assuming scan dates are accurate, had scans at 14, 19 and 28 weeks so far.
On Monday I will be 31 weeks.
The reason I ask is that I've had 2 emcs and one elective, so this one will be a section. If I go into labour I've been told to go straight in and they'll "get baby out" and just thought that if there's even a chance that the LMP date is correct that pushes me forward 3 weeks which is quite a significant jump. We've been talking about making preparations for the birth/other dc/baby coming home etc. If it was a 4 week difference I would just assume I got pregnant the next month but 3 weeks is a bit odd.
Did anyone else have the same gap and did you end up going into labour early?

I think if you weren't having regular periods then it's unlikely your LMP date is correct....were you tracking ovulation? My cycles were 6-8 week's once I stopped breastfeeding not the standard 28days....i also only had one bleed between DD1 and this pregnancy and LmP made my EDD 14th Feb but scans make me 26th Feb.
If you're very worried about dates speak to your midwife and she can reassure you.

(I mean the due date based on your LMP not the date of your last bleed itself.)

My period was every 28 days for years and there were 19 days between my LMP dates and my scan dates. DS ended up 15 days late by EMCS anyway.

Like you I was anxious he was going to come early in line with LMP but he didn't.

After so many scans I'd just put it down to an odd ovulation date in the cycle you fell pregnant. Especially if it was six months after your last baby - things are still settling down at that point.

Thanks ladies. I'm not too worried. If anything I've learnt from experience that you never know when/how labour is going to go so I guess ill just prepare anyway.
We weren't tracking ovulation, I didn't even realise I was pregnant for weeks (until I burst into tears watching moana).
It's amazing how many 'what if' moments you can find to procrastinate about during pregnancy.
