Fortunately all is fine, baby fine , no more blood, cervix fine and right length (was pretty worried about that, had had a shortening incident in my pg with ds). But I've got to try to take it easy (more 'just in case' than because something concrete appears to be wrong) and we're moving to the other end of Germany on Weds. Aaaaaargh. They did say they should really keep me in, if only 'for legal reasons' (i.e. in case something did happen and I sued) - which scared me a bit, but I really don't think it's necessary, and anyway I'm still bf ds to sleep... I've had bits of spotting before in this pg and all was fine - and the twinges don't feel like contractions. But am sitting here with my feet up (couldn't sleep right now if I tried), sure my instinct (to have come home) is right but of course nigglingly worried. I've been through 2 mcs to get this far... sympathy and distractions welcome

Thanks for the good thoughts... Pruni, we can't afford packers (we are getting the basics - loading, unloading (from the flat and into the new one) and transport - paid for), and even if we could, I'd feel funny about strangers packing our things . Am having another slow and gentle packing day today, with plenty of lie-down time.

(oh, am fortunately spotting- and twinge-free again today - am hoping that means it's settled down)

Phew... have been away, so missed this originally and am glad to see you're OK today. Please try to take it easy. Let MrB do the packing and try to chill as much as possible. I am thinking of you.

I spotted off and on until 20 weeks with dd berolina. And I am just delighted to report that so far this Easter hols, she has been cutting up my knitting patterns, sprinkling sequins everywhere, and serenading us on the recorder "That was TWINKLE, TWINKLE, LITTLE STAR" . Spotting v. common I discovered when posting angstily about this four years ago, and I just bet it is stress-related. All good luck with the moved and hope it is the start of a more serene and enjoyable pregnancy
