Im so, so embarrassed, even writing this.

I'm a teacher on school holidays. About three weeks ago I realised I had threadworms - saw one. Sorry tmi. Obviously got them from school as I teach little ones. I pride myself on being super hygienic etc so am pretty annoyed! Don't know what to do to avoid them?!

Anyway - I'm 12.5 weeks preggers and they haven't gone away despite me cleaning EVERYTHING. Clean pyjamas, tight undies, everything I've read up on.

The bad thing is - I've had cystitis symptoms (no infection despite three cultures) for a couple of weeks (and thrush) which I now think could be caused by the blighters??

I'm at the end of my tether. Feel utterly disgusting and hopeless. Would take ovex but apparently you can't?!

Do I go to my GP? I'm SO embarrassed.

PLEASE help me!!!

XxX

11 weeks and 3 days today. I caught thread worms which is thankfully nearly gone by keeping hygiene up, using garlic crushed in with vaseline and constantly cleaning the area. However the torture didn't stop there as I've now caught thrush as well. Anyone else had these problems? I seem to be catching one thing after the other. This is my first pregnancy as well so I'm new to all of it.

Hi there. You said you took med for this. Did you have any repercussions with baby or was everything OK? How far into pregnancy were you when this happened? I am 13 and a half weeks and this is driving me crazy right now. Really bad!!!
