How to tell DD I'm pregnant

I am expecting again after an early miscarriage last cycle. It's early days, but I'm so worried about telling my daughter that she's going to be a bit sister!
She's 9, and used to being a spoilt only child, and I don't want her to feel like she's being pushed out. I've mentioned to her a few times if she would like a brother or sister, and she's not interested. But she said if she had to she would have a sister but she probably won't play with her 😂
God help me the day I break the news.... please anyone help me with some unique ideas on how to tell her!
Thanks in advance!

Big sister t shirt?
Let her make a list of names though no promises of actually picking one unless it's suitable!!
Perfect time to make her see the world doesn't revolve around just her!!

Congratulations! I know you can never predict how these things will go, but I'd like to think she'll be a really helpful and hands-on sister at that age. I remember a friend of mine becoming a big sister when we were 10. They are adults now and are the best of friends :)

She'll be very nearly 10 by the time baby is born. Tshirt is a great idea thank you! I don't plan on telling her for a long time yet. Being very cautious that she doesn't find out sooner. Already left the box of my prenatal vitamins on the kitchen top and had to swipe them off behind my back very quickly! That's the only problem that she's older... she can read! Haha
