I'm having a cervical scan at 19 weeks to check for this due to a previous lletz but am getting some abdominal pain / twinges. At what point do I get worried? I'm 16+5...

I didn't have an incompetent cervix but had a colposcopy years ago so as a precaution I had a cervical stitch put in around 18 weeks and put a hormone pessary up there each night

They'd probably give you similar treatment as me if you have an incompetent cervix

I wouldn't worry about the twinges, that's prob just down to your uterus growing etc and nothing to do with your cervix

They will examine you before a risk of anything bad happening so try not to worry

The twinges can just be down to round ligament pains, I had a scan at 21 weeks to check my cervical length and due to some fluid leaks I had another at 23 and then 24 weeks, where it was found that my cervix had shortened and I had to use three progesterone pessaries a day for the remainder of pregnancy, i had regular scans up until 34 weeks.
