Curious about how long people left it to get pregnant again?

We are 6 months pregnant with our second now, DD will be 22 months when he is born in November. We wanted a small age gap although admittedly we thought it would take a few months, but got pregnant the first month of trying so the age gap is on the very lowest side of what we would like :)

Wrong, she will be 26 months... Blush

When DC1 started sleeping a full night - at 2.5 yrs old!

Left it up to chance and ... we have a gap of 15 months between ours. Turns out breastfeeding is not an effective contraceptive!

After DD turned 2 - 8 months and one miscarriage later I fell pregnant so there'll be a 3 year 4 month age gap. Managed a bonus baby too -twins! Will turn out quite nicely as DD will be in nursery 3 days a week. We had it all planned out childcare-wise and me returning to work - unfortunately the twins have thrown a spanner in the works with childcare and returning to work after my maternity leave as we can't afford to put 2 in nursery - so despite how much we planned it didn't work out as we thought!

I'm coming to the end of my second pregnancy. My first son is 5 yrs. my husband has a 9 yr old from previous relationship. We never planned anymore...until last year I got pregnant accidentally. It freaked us out (especially husband) and thought we may terminate, it ended up being a miscarriage and we decided that we would have another child to complete our family. So I got pregnant again about 3 months later. Due in 3 weeks. Tbh, I'm glad we've left it 5 years from our last. It has been easier to many friends I see heavily pregnant with babies or toddlers/pre schoolers to cope with at the same time.

We wanted a small ish age gap so started trying the month DS turned 1. It didn't quite work out that way, and we finally got our sticky bfp in Jan - exactly 3 years after starting ttc. DS2 due Oct 1st when DS will be 4.5 years. Not what we'd planned but actually works out pretty well as it means I will be there for DS1 for every school drop off and pick up for his first year (usually work full time shifts) and still have baby time during the day. Couldn't be happier with the idea of it at the minute!

When DD turned 9 months and I returned to work. I fell pregnant in the first month of trying, but unfortunately miscarried. We had a little break from trying and then I fell pregnant when DD was 13 months.

DD2 is now 3 weeks old and they have a 21 month age gap.

Started trying when DS was 15 months but took about8 months to get BFP. There will be roughy 2 years 7 months age gap.

Got pregnant 1st try with DS so decided we would not even think about trying before he turns 2. I most certainly did not want 2 under 2 😱
So the month DS turned 2 we decided maybe its time, mostly because i had also just turned 35 (and read too much about how your fertility goes downhill from then). And the following month i was pregnant.
DD is due in Nov when my son will be 2 years 9months
