Hi, I'm 19 weeks pregnant and can't wait to start buying for my little one! I was just wondering what all you other wonderful mummy's started to buy in preparation for your baby?
So far I've got a baby nail kit, a few different sizes of nappys, wipes, cotton pads/wool, talc, bath thermometer, nappy cream, a few dummies and baby face wipes. I'm unsure of what else to start buying just yet! Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated Smile

Bottle of infacol
Sleeping bags
A baby bath
Water wipes. Get yourself a box off Amazon
Plain vests and sleepsuits up to 1 month and 0-3 for keeping beside the bed. He'll chuck up during night feeds.
Don't buy a microwave steriliser then not bother checking if it fits in the microwave like I did!
Newborn bottles, I recommend Mam

I bought a packet or two of water wipes each week when I went to the supermarket from about 25 weeks. DS is nearly 8 months and we've only just stopped using them.

Other than that, to echo everyone else, don't buy lots of anything. (Except perhaps amazon prime, because that way, everything is a max of 24 hours away!)

if you're thinking of breastfeeding, soothing gel pads are ace. I can't find the ones I had but they look like this:
