Is it just me. I haven't had morning sickness yet. But the thought of it terrifies me as I have a phobia of being sick.. So I'm causious of what I eat. When I eat I'm bloated after a little bit. But in general to day I've had to force myself to eat and that's been 2 sandwiches, pack crisp. Melon. Nectarines. And cherry tomatoes. That's it. Lots and lots of water tho.

You may not get morning sickness (there are many people that don't) or may feel sick but not be sick. I have a phobia of being sick but I think I was only sick once each pregnancy so it wasn't too bad. I felt sick a lot of the time (which wasn't great) but somehow it wasn't as scary as when I feel sick/am being sick with a stomach bug etc

General rule is that little and often keeps your stomach lined, blood sugars up and less likely to feel ill. Eat bland and healthy as that tends to sit best, but you'll find what's best for you. Lack of appetite is common though, some do and some feel starving. As for your phobia, ditto, I had a good chat with my GP and he prescribed some anti sickness tablets just in case. I haven't taken them, but knowing they are there has made life easier. Lots of bloating this end - I find splitting my evening meal into two meals helps. Rest also helps generally.

Thank you. I have gp next week so may as for some sickness pills incase. I can cope with feeling sick... Just about lol
I just worry I won't be eating enough but it varies day to day. I've wanted more fruit than ever and salad stuff. But gone off veg and have to force myself to eat it. Weird

I couldn't eat until around 16 weeks on my first pregnancy. I drank a lot of milkshake to try and keep my strength up.
I made up for it during the rest of my pregnancy!

People with awful morning sickness struggle to keep anything down, so I think as long as hydrated and eating something you're ok.

Do ask for pills because just knowing you have them helps, especially at night/weekends. Keep food by your bed, and carry water, mints and something plain to eat. If I feel bad I just hibernate as well - feet up and rest.

Thank you. Yeah will do. Like I said I haven't been sick yet and when I has DS I had none either. I'm just worried lol. Plus no appetite made sure I had breakfast and have taken fruit to work. Milkshake is a good idea. I'm drinking approx 10 bottles of water a day plus juice. I never drink water normally so cantbe bad thing :)

I don't know what was the worst, feeling sick (and being sick with half an hour's warning, even during dinner Shock) or the lack of fancying anything whatsoever.
I mean, very early on, I knew I had to eat, but I didn't know what I wanted, so it was a game of hit and miss. Frustrating.
